The purpose of this letter is to inform reporting parties that ACER continues to conduct regular assessments of the completeness, accuracy and timely submission of the data received under REMIT. The letter is also intended to promote cooperation between ACER and reporting parties in order to further improve data reporting under REMIT. Using the findings from its assessments, ACER aims to help its stakeholders ensure that the data reported to ACER is consistent with the REMIT reporting requirements.

The purpose of this letter is to raise awareness on the importance of preparing for the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union for market participants, Registered Reporting Mechanisms, Organised Market Places and the wider market. Please note that following the European Council’s decision on 11 April 2019 extending Article 50(3) TEU, the Agency’s published measures and actions, including public statements, issued on the basis of a possible no-deal Brexit scenario on 29 March 2019, subsequently updated to read 12 April 2019, should now be read as referring to the new potential no-deal Brexit date of 31 October 2019, unless the European Council decides otherwise. The Agency may issue further announcements in relation to the application of this new date in due course.
